A combination of excitement and relaxation awaits you here, perfectly dosed for a successful vacation experience. The Zimalis apartment building is centrally located. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from the bus station, from where you can reach various ski resorts, such as the Silvapark Galtür or the Silvretta Arena Ischgl-Samnaun. The mountains surrounding Galtür also offer spectacular adventures for hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts.

Our Apart Zimalis offers vacation apartments with room for two to five people The comfort and amenities of the space leave no wishes unfulfilled. Even tall guests will get an excellent nights’ sleep in our beds, which have no footboards but do feature 2.20-meter (86-inch) long bedding. Guests with allergies will find exceptional conditions here to ensure they have a relaxing vacation. We also have two completely handicapped accessible apartments available for guests with limited mobility.
Panorama

Panorama – is the word that describes the dream view of the blue Silvretta Alps from this apartment suitable for couples, wheelchair users, families with a small child or three good friends.
The way to the apartment takes you directly to the mountain scenery, which you can take in from the west-facing balcony, the dining area with seat bench and the bedroom window. You can conjure up some Tyrolean specialties in the fully equipped eat-in kitchen, or spend time in the apartment’s cozy interior reading, surfing the web or simply relaxing and enjoying.
The separate bedroom with double bed and ample storage space, the living room that can sleep a third person and the west-facing balcony all offer room for relaxation. The newly renovated bathroom with shower/toilet is completely handicapped accessible, just like the rest of Apart Zimalis.

Sarah– host, passionate mountain guide and the eponym of our handicapped accessible and largest apartment, suitable for three to five guests – family, friends and couples.
Vacation. Finally some “we time” and time to really get some (or a lot of) sleep. Two double beds and one single bed in two spacious bedrooms with cozy blankets allow you to dive right into the mountain dream world. Two bathrooms with a shower and separate toilet, along with the in-house sauna, create a personal mini-spa for you to enjoy.
Vacation is a time for sharing delicious meals. In your fully equipped eat-in kitchen you can whip up your favorite dishes in a jiffy. And cleaning up is easy thanks to dishwasher. The dining area with seat bench provides an unobstructed view of the garden and the children’s play area in the summer and the cross-country skiing trails situated directly behind the building in the winter. You can enjoy a mountain view in the evening sun from the west-facing balcony.

Philipp

Philipp, named after our mountaineer and in-house IT specialist, is the perfect apartment for two guests. It is very spacious and offers additional space for another one to three guests.
Easily take your luggage to the first floor with the elevator, which is situated just a few steps from the apartment. The entryway leads directly to the roomy eat-in kitchen with a large dining table and cozy couch. The view from the dining table will make the heart of any mountain lover beat faster, and there is an even more breathtaking view from the large balcony. The spacious bedroom and the additional sofa bed ensure restful sleep in pollen-free air. The toilet is separate from the bathroom with shower.

Organizational talent and professional baker Alexandra lent her name to our sunny apartment for families with one to two children or groups of up to four friends.
The afternoon sun welcomes you as soon as you step into the entryway of the apartment, which then leads to the practically equipped kitchen. The dining area with mountain view is a perfect place to spend wonderful hours with family or friends. The view from the west-facing balcony brings the mountains to you.
Two spacious bedrooms with cozy blankets also have enough room for a children’s travel bed, which we will provide free of charge upon request. The bathroom with shower and toilet is situated by the entryway to the apartment.

Our second-largest apartment, suitable for three to five guests, is named after Daniela (and Toni), those kind souls and fulfillers of wishes, at Apart Zimalis.
Easily take your luggage to the second floor with the elevator, which is situated just a few steps from the spacious apartment. The continue on to the centerpiece of the apartment – the little terrace where you can enjoy not only your morning coffee but also the mountain view while soaking up the sun. The practical kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook your favorite dishes. And cleaning up is easy thanks to dishwasher.
One double room and one triple room with cozy beds guarantee relaxing nights at 1,600 meters (5,250 feet) above sea level. The toilet is separate from the bathroom with shower.

Our highlights
All of our apartments feature a beautiful view of the mountains. Our garden with children’s play area offers plenty of space for your kids to relax or romp around.
A bakery, sports shops, restaurants, cafés and the romantic Galtür village center are a mere 10-minute walk by footpath – or a three-minute car ride. The grocery store is located only 300 meters (1,000 feet) from the apartment building.
Our sports depot in the basement will accommodate all your sports equipment. And, of course, there is also a shoe dryer. Bike racks as well as repair kits are available in the video-monitored garage for our biking guests. The washing station is located in front of the building.
Paznaun Valley mountain spring water comes out of the pipes fresh and cool. Enjoy still water straight from the tap. If you prefer sparkling water, you can get bubbles with the Soda Club in the apartment.
Parking spaces are available on the street directly in front of the building. You can rent a parking space in the garage for a fee. The ski and hiking bus, which stops 300 meters (1,000 feet) from the building, is free for you.

Vacation for guests with allergies
Galtür was selected as the first climatic health resort in the Tyrol back in 1997. The air in Galtür is especially clean due to the altitude, which is also why there is such a low pollen load. In 2018, the municipality of Galtür was again honored by the European Union for allergy research, receiving the ECARF Seal. This means not only unforgettable but above all worry-free vacation days for guests with allergies.
The ECARF Seal is also awarded to accommodations with special provisions for people with allergies – Apart ZIMALIS also received this seal on April 16, 2018. We’ve had the Environmental Label since 1990.

It's time to relax
Treat your body and mind to a time-out in our wellness oasis; it’s time to relax. After an exciting day on the slopes or in the mountains, there’s nothing more soothing than a stint in the sauna. Afterwards, breathe in the fresh mountain air while strengthening your immune system. The Kneipp pool in particular will rev up your cardiovascular system and invigorate you.

Hours of operation
In order to manage our resources in the most environmentally friendly and energy-saving manner possible, we only turn on the sauna after prior request. Simply sign up at the reception desk or over the phone, and your visit to one of our wellness areas will be assured.
Arrival- & departure
Relaxed travel on any day except for Saturday.
Take the opportunity to schedule your arrival to and departure from the hotel on a Friday or Sunday. This way you can avoid the traffic chaos on the roads and enjoy a traffic-jam-free and stress-free arrival and departure.
Your reserved apartment will be available starting on 3:30 PM on your arrival date. Check-out time is 9:00 AM. Please let us know your approximate arrival time.
